IBA Global is sending an Africa wide call for entries to fly to USA to inprove your entrepreneurship skills!

Entrepreneurship and innovation are vehicles for change. The Young Entrepreneur program is based on models of entrepreneurial leadership and change management where a leader is one who has both an attitude and aptitude to recognize opportunities for positive change and who has the skills to implement such change.

YEP leaders not only seek, but create opportunities. The goals of the Young Entrepreneurship program are to increase understanding of the links between entrepreneurial activity and free markets and the importance of transparency and accountability in business and government while providing a professional exchange program between emerging and existing entrepreneurs in Africa and the United States.

The Young Entrepreneur internship program is a structured learning experience and provides YEPs with opportunities for experiential learning, connecting their real world experiences with classroom experiences, and consultations with successful entrepreneurs. The Young Entrepreneur internship program will expand your knowledge and expertise in:
(1) Entrepreneurial thinking;
(2) Basic business management skills;
(3) Methods of attracting investors; and
(4) Ways to design programs to teach these skills to others

The Young Entrepreneur Program (YEPSA), run by Evo Media and International Businss Academy (IBA) South Africa, promotes the development of the entrepreneurial spirit in African Entrepreneurs. The program starts with online business classes then takes the “YEPers” to the United States where they are paired up with local entrepreneurs for 6 weeks. After this experience YEPers are ready to turn training into reality.

YEP 3 has started accepting applications and will begin the selection process at the end of August. Training classes for the selected entrepreneurs start in November 2011 and departure to the US is in February 2012. Click here to apply
